what I love about this is that they didn't use any metaphors or make it in a sense that you have to really analyze it to get the meaning. It's to the point, they're talking about cancer. By doing that, they make people understand it just by hearing the song for the first time, and it's really touching. "Cause the hardest part of death is leaving you" is probably the best line in the song. |

It sounds like "to change that part" but I might be wrong. "Life is not meant to be feared, true, it has its moments of sorrow, but what the band is trying to say is that you should live it the best you can, no matter what happens." -nhinman Gerard said in an interview that he used to fear death, but then he discovered that it was life that he feared; so I guess he wrote this about getting over that fear. |
