Any thoughts as to what the first two lines mean? The only two meanings that I could think of were that this is what colin thinks happens when you die - hands get numb; stupid people. The other thing I could think of was that it's what life is like, so death doesn't seem like a bad thing, or at least not much of a change. I guess that's what I got out of this song - that death isn't really that much of a change. Maybe I'm way off. Probably. |

This is a great song. I always danced to it, and then I listened to the lyrics and it blew me away. Again. I like it when the boy starts talking back to the girl. I agree with phobos258 on the goose bumps thing. |

I think that this song is about a couple "getting down to business" but, then again, I could be wrong. FotC could hide very deep meanings behind their songs... This song always makes me dance, but I'm laughing as well, so it's hard for me to keep dancing. FotC are hilarious. And very much neglected here. |

To me, I think that this song is really trying to fave the racism present in our modern society, but there is also a more subtle theme of child abuse... Or, it's just a story about an angry racist dragon. With hilarious results. |

Other than what Delial said, I can't really think of why Colin included the whole shiny thing in this song. It's really odd, when you think about it. MeAndOnlyMe: This song is actually called "The Yeah Yeah Yeah Song (With All Your Power)" Most of the songs on this CD have really long song names, but aren't usually called that. I really like this song. I never really listened to the lyrics untill recently. It made me laugh at the part where they switch to saying "no no no no no no no no no". |
