This, together with Sail Away, in my opinion, is David Gray's best. The melody is great and very relaxing and stirring at the same time. I really appreciate the more melodic than most of his other songs, and a bit lighter, too. Great stuff, Mr. Gray. |

I agree with ynal. Puts me in a very calm place. It feels kind of like a mix of a quiet european town and, at the same time, a faraway island. Just perfect. |

This is a very meaningful song to me as it marked the end of the really awkward relationship I've had with a girl. Unfortunately, things didn't play out in life as they do in the song. I really wish they did. I think out of the many broken relationship songs I've heard, Sway and Trouble Sleeping describe what happened to me most.
