ahhh amazing KT song. beautiful lyrics and a beautiful vocal aswell, perhaps one of her best. i think it's about a casual sex arrangement or a f*** buddy (sorry!) when feelings get involved. what was said was probably that the arrangement was no strings attached. i don't know what does everyone else think? |

noel wrote this when he had an argument with liam in australia, and liam went home in a mood. well that's wat he said in an interview anyway. it gives more meaning to the line 'you can't give me the dreams that were mine anyway', about the fame and musical success and stuff. I love the brotherly relationship and i think it's where oasis' best songs come from. |

i heard stephen fretwell on the radio talking about this song and apparently it's abou a girl who he was in love with and he used to go round to her house all the time and stuff but she was just using him. she knew he was in love with her but she wasn't in love with him, she just used to mess him around and she was pretty messed up! hence the tragedy line. also she wasn't really called emily! |

This is my favourite KT song ever. my take on it is that it's about letting go of your loved one who has lost their spark, or become depressed and you know you can't do anything for them any more because it just hurts you too much to be so let down and helpless. beautifully sad song with fantastic vocal from KT. |

I think the song is about an ex-girlfriend. when u see the sad look of resignation in the video when he sees her stumbling out of the toilets, and he finds a girl who looks a bit like her. there's loads of clips of their failing relationship in the video and u can tell his bandmates know about it too. the strongest pointer for this theory is the 'hold on to your pride, just don't let me down' at the end which rings so true as a please don't put yourself about and hurt me now we've split up. |
