i'm pretty sure that the lyrics posted are wrong- i think it's: "went outside, invited in but i couldn't abide, went missing again" this is a song about completely letting go of a relationship, and being lost in the freedom. this person left with the intent of finding someone better, but does not fully believe they will ever find the true relationship they are looking for. that's my take on it. |
