So "advantageous"
thats what i'm hearing... makes more sense to me too if you get the meaning of the song. |

yah, avatar, i'd really like to know what he says after each verse... it reminds me a lot of the type of jimmy hendrix spoken bits he'd throw into his songs... what an amazing song, band, group of artists. |

I agree with sam... what an amazing guitar solo... it's deep man. I think the frustration of the lyrics and the melancholy nature of the song really come out in the solo. John repeats a lot of the same chords and then releases into some nasty ripping. Its so sick. I'd have to say its on par, if not better than the solo he did on "I Could Have Lied" |

This song is beautiful and perfect. It's haunting to me and mysterious... everything a universal love or energy would encompass.
I love the versions on Hyde Park and Slane Castle. The guitar solos John rips out at the end are so emotional and energetic... you can tell he's channeling that "universal love" |
