This Song to me pretty much like any skillet song is about God...like he is saying that it hurts when he is away from God but he thinks that the older he gets that he will get over his problems and trust God, and that it has been to long since he had trusted and or talked God PS- he being any person |

I am 19 yrs old i Have Listened and Loved This Band For as Long as I can remember....This Band has done it all!!! slow to fast and anything in between and songs with mixtures....not many bands can do that...THEY ARE THE GREATEST BAND EVER!!!!! Oh and to what ronativ said....Jimmy Page And Robert Plant were the Best, but alot of people forget about John Bonhamn...what a great drummer...listen to the drums on the rest of their songs next time you get.....wow...Anyways this songs even if it doesnt have a real true meaning just like any other song it means something to everyone....TO me this song sings about a person who tries to take a shortcut to heaven and that she like everyone else has a chance to change the direction they are going whether it be good or bad......No matter Led Zeppelin was a great band and they were great philosophers...and there music still rocks today... i have introduced many of my friends to them and they become instand fans......I love it! |

Ya so what we all make mistakes.....Look he knows he has made mistakes, look at his other song Fight Song where he states "Im Still Healing" and "It's so hard to forget But I must let go...and begin To live again and not give in I figured out I will land on solid ground I will land on solid ground I will go another round" He is sayin that he has made mistakes and that they are hard to forget...he has had lost of pressure, you could see some of that pressure in some of the Creed songs especially suicide thoughts like in One Last Breath....ONly one person on this earth was ever perfect, we shouldnt expect anyone(especially a rock star) else to be perfect... thats my shpill!! |
