Great song. But I dont understand. If your wife cheats on you, why kill here or the other man? I mean haha, kill someone because they cheat. I would just have gone sad and divorced me from her. But if my wife loves you, and another man is bad to her when shes faithfull. Then you should grab that gun and kill that man. |

I like this song. It's hard to analyze, but the thins that musicfreak_12 tells off seems to add up. Would like to read that book too, but I really can't read books without getting bored. To me this song is like someone comming back from a great adventure, and finds his love living a other life, where he doesnt fit in. So he is just being around her, watching her. Think he still loves her. |

Haha, this song is so cool. For me it's about people rebellion against a overwhelming enemy. They gather underground and strike from beneath. It might sound like revolutionary dreams. But it's like that in Sweden. We are getting oppressed in our on country with foreigners. And the Swedish youth generations are just a boiling bowl of hatred. There are marches against politicians and corruption annually. For me it's the song about the will of the youth. Going to explode in the traitors faces! |

Add: I listened to this song mostly when I was 17. There was a crazy junkie that was going to kill me. So I went to a friend, and borrowed a pistol. I was really scared over a long period of time. Was ready to have a shoot down anytime. I even had the gun when walking to school. I wanted to escape, but couldn’t. Then I wanted to be seen by someone, to give me some shelter, somehow, somewhere. Because that time the edge war near. The Stone's song is great, the intro and the intensity. Perfect for movies like Casino and so, showing people living on the edge. |

I don’t know the exact thing that the writer of this song had in mind. Probably it's about the Vietnam War. To me it's a song about how close an edge can be. To war and death or to love, or anything. They warn about how easy war is to create, and finishes of with how close love can be. They also sing that 'If I don't get some shelter. Oh yeah, I'm gonna fade away'. It's a cry for help, that line, pretty obvious. |

The mod and level of sorrow is far beyond a common break up. I think it's about death, definitely. The things he says about the heaven above. Meaning that there is where he will be. I don't know, but from the singers view he might know that he is going to die, and that she'll hear the song/letter too late, when he is gone already, and that she'll have to carry on. But as someone else said, its reversed psychology makes you cry even more :) I think a lot of life when I hear it, knowing that all sorts of tragic things are happening to people around the world. I feel sorry for the ones that left like that, in sorrow. |
