Yes... I'd love to know who this 'George' is. Lol.. Anyway, I don't believe she's harsh at all. I think she's having a very hard time believing that this love is real because it is so beautiful and powerful it's too much for her senses to take in all at once, "Pinch me to waking". The person that this song portrays is a rather bitter person, very careful or cynical about life, so they like to take things step by step. But this love is so profound that she can't help but to feel like it's all a dream or fairytale, but it is indeed and in fact real. |
