i first listened to this song on a free sampler that came in a magazine and i loved it from the very beginning. it took me a little while to understand what the song meant but when i fully understood the song i realized what a brilliant man elliot smith was. it was a great dissapointment to know that by time i had first listened to a song of his he had already taken his life. however, i really want to buy other albums of his but i dont know where to begin. a lot of people hear seem to be very familiar with elliot smith and his works. it would be wonderful if you could recommend a favorite album or a good place to begin. thanks! love always... |
