It's quite obvious Jared is writing from the point of view of a black man (commonly referred to as Nigger, Negro, Shadow People, NASTY etc). "So I run, hide and tear myself up." He's running from the cops and hides in some bushes. Little does he know that they're thorns, which results in many cuts. "ll start again with a brand new name." New Name = Inmate 34242346 "I will disappear." He's telling us how it get's dark, and he can hide in the darkness. I just hope he remembers to close his eyes and keep his mouth shut.
