(Caps??) With this, I get the impression of the Nazis. The Black Sun was one of the symbols used by the SS, and was used to represent the most elite of their ranks, as the Black Sun was used as a 'Round Table' for them. Further to this, the reference to "The Spear of Destiny" adds more to this, as it was meant to be one o the relics in possetion of Hitler, and gave him victory in Europe until he mislaid it. The Reich was meant to be a 1000year long empire, with Hitler and the SS as "the New Gods". This could also be reference to Christian mythos about the Apocalyspe. Constantine (the film) deals with this, with the "Spear of Destiny" as a central theme. |
