Lol, I love this song and I know it has a deep meaning, but for now it has just a basic meaning for me "The play is done..The curtain`s down" I'm still at school and I have to write a play for Drama lol it has to be all like full profeesional and blah and I just can't wait until 'The play is done and the curtains down' hehe |

Everyone has very good meanings. I joke to my friend that this is Nightwish's suicide song (personal joke), although I don't really like to think of suicide as the definete meaning for the song. |

Hehe, don't forget it was a guy who wrote these lyrics, which makes it more creepy. So whenever I hear this song I never seem to think of it in Tarja (or any womans) point of view but yes it fits right in to let a woman sing it. Nightwish is good like that. |

Lol, before I heard this song I had some story in my mind, then when I heard the song the lyrics seemed to fit perfectly with the story. So, to me, the lyrics WERE that a guy kidnapped a girl and erased her memory, making her marry him. ("sacrificed her life" as in sacrificed life as she remembered).
But NOW I can see the whole murder thing. Ironically, I decided that AFTER I had created a story about a guy killing all his girlfriends. |
