I completely see the connection with being overcome with fear when approaching 'that certain someone', but I'm also picking up on something a little 'raunchy' :) To me, it seems like he could be talking about being on ecstasy. Feeling the rush, talking shit, facial expressions, 'how the feeling races, back up to their brains', 'the heartbeats at its peak'. I'm not sure, obviously, but I think it's an interesting idea. Try listening to the song again with that in mind, and see if you pick up on other things I didn't mention here. |
