There are too many direct references to the Aeschylean Trilogy in this song for it to just mean 'the wife and I thank you very much'. 'Tri-colored pastas' and 'platters of the purest gold' are symbolic in Ancient Greek literature for Neo-conservativism. The song is plainly a Nu-Marx conflict of two of the seven deadly sins, namely -Envy and Gluttony. |

The keyboard solo is a clear reference to Thomas Jefferson's mango plantation where the keyboard cat is said to be buried. well, whatever your stance on the politics, the lyrics in this song are actually very underated. all the time i heard this song in the past i thought he was just freestyling a load of old bilge to a great riff. but actually, if you take the the time to figure what they mean, they're really good! its about a betrayal with his girlfriend, so he takes her to the place that they first met, kills her and then puts a bullet in his own head. now listen to the song with that in mind, player hater |
