I thought this was about someone who is now famous, but as a child was in Special Needs and is trying to hide it. It reminds me of the Stephen Fry documentary, when he's talking about his manager who says "You don't need to be gay or jewish to get into hollywood, but you sure as hell need to be Bi Polar" or something like that. Just how I interpretted it, it's sort of about how so many celebrities are very troubled and had rough lifes. The person saying remember me in my mind, isn't an actual person, but is in essence the memory of their time in Special Needs that they are trying to block out saying "You may be rich, you may be famous, but you weren't always this way" |

I was wondering does it really say "soaked in bleach", "cept in bleach" or "served in bleach" ? Also I think if kurt cobain didn't die of suicide, it was assisted suicide, definately not murder. You all bring up the he had a lethal dose of heroin in his blood thing, but yeah, if he had just taken a lethal dose of heroin WHY would someone come in and say HAY I'LL GO SHOOTS HIM GUD LOL and blow his head off? It would have been easier just to let him die of the heroin. Now he could have gotten someone to shoot his head off because he had a high tolerance to heroin after using it so heavily for so many years and was afraid that he could be revived from the dosage. Which makes more sense. But I doubt that is true and I really do think that it was a suicide. And the gun wasn't found on kurts chest. It was a Remington M-11 20 gauge and was found between kurts legs with his left hand wrapped around the barrell. The barrel end was just above his belt line. The shot was taken in the mouth. There was an imprint of the barrell in his left hand that meant he had to be holding the gun when it fired. And who ever says they saws photos of Kurt dead and there was no blood, well they obviously didn't because the police reports clearly state that there was a large pool of dry blood to the left of him. The cobaincase and kurt and courtney are money making schemes, the creator of Kurt And Courtney owned up eventually saying he had no doubt that Kurt committed suicide. The owner of the Cobaincase.com is really just a bit of a bastard. I mean he sells "kits", he just wanted to cash in on the death of a celebrity and didn't care about the reprocussions it had on the Cobain family at all. Truely a wanker. :) And if you read his stuff most of it is hyped up and well, pretty senseless tbh. |

Reminds me of war. Scream thy last scream, well seems like a scream of anguish from the old woman because maybe a husband, brother died in the war. I really only got this because of Blam blam your pointers point your pointers which sounds like pointing guns. Scrubbing bubbles on all fours is washing the floor, flap top houses would be a doll house which could have been a toy of the mentioned daughter? I'm not sure it seems like a story to me. |

I allways thought this was religious. I thought it was about the way that people that go to church will just belive anything, which is why there was all of the baaing (you know, the whole following like sheep and the lord is my shepard thing). I allways considered it a satire on religion as well as political correctness, but that is just me. (Oh and when they said Reverand Maynard I actually went LOL because I just thought that was funny and i am easily amused.) Oh and I never understood why there are 10 minutes of crickets or what ever! I don't think this is actually about a peeping tom, I think that's a metaphore. I think it's about this person who has hit bottom and is unsatisfied with their life and their drug and alcohol and gambling addictions (Problems with the booze/Troubles with the gear/With every bet I lost). The peeping tom part comes into play because they are looking at someone else and seeing how much better that persons life is to theirs and some how seeing someone do well in life gives the peeping tom some sort of hope, kind of a "if they can do it than so can I" situation. (The one that makes me seem to feel much taller than you are) But thei vices weigh them down and they aren't really able to turn around their life, so they just continue watching this person and thinking of what they could have had. That's just my interpretation though. :) |

This song IS about Cannibalism. Armin Meiwes was a 41 year old computer administrator that posted Ads (like this one here http://groups.google.com/group/alt.sex.snuff.cannibalism/msg/021b86ada8ddf82b) For a young boy between 18 and 30 with a normal build to be butchered and eaten (the first line of the song) (Note that that line only appears in the single version of the song) Armin Meiwes found someone who was willing (I can't remember his first name, but I think it was Something Brandes), and the both met up and Armin proceeded to kill and eat the man in question. Mein Teil means "My Part" which is a slang term for "My Penis". It is named my Mein Teil because Armin chopped off the mans "part" and they both ate it. The song came about when one of the members brought in a newspaper with the headline about Armin and his cannibalism. The band just basically said "SHIT GUYS, WE HAVE TO WRITE A SONG ABOUT THIS" And THAT is how Mein Teil came about. (P.S, the transvestite in the music video is meant to represent Armins mother, I belive. Don't ask me about the video, I can't get my head around it at all) |

When I first watched the video, the thing that seemed to scream out to me as did the majority of people here it seems, was "Child abuse!". I think the reason for this is the fact that the victim looks a lot like a baby while the victimiser is more like an adult. This could be wrong. The "child" could be a caricature of a victim, but then the lines "It took so long to remember just what happened/I was so young and vestal then" come in to play. When the word "Young" is said, the first thing that comes to mind is children, and with the video combined with the lyrics the first impression is Child abuse. All of these stories about Maynard being raped behind the tool shed by his step father... Well, I wouldn't be jumping to conclusions as this song could be conceptual and Maynard has never admitted to being abused by his Step father. At the same time, we must take in to account that being raped by your step father isn't something anyone would brag about, and in the song Aenema where he says "Fuck these dysfunctional Insecure actresses" Which may express the anger he has towards these celebrities that never stop talking about how hard their lives are/were, this could explain his silence (assuming that the rape theory is true). Very few people seemed to touch upon the other little creatures inside the room with the drawers. I allways felt that when the Victimiser killed the clay man, it represented the part of the victim that is "killed" during the abuse (possibly the other creatures could represent diffrent aspects of the childs mind). That's all I have to say really, most other things seem to have been allready covered. |
