you know.....upon review of my previous comment......I've decided the song isn't depressing at all. He says he could and would do so much for her, but he is just so in love with her, that he would just much rather stay in bed with her and be in her presence. Because fulfilling all of his promises would mean that he would have to be away from her. And you know, if you've been fortunate to find that one love of your life like I have, the best place to be, at all times, is the bed. for conversation, for the connection, for the touching, for the smells, for the purity of what love really is. There you go. My reinterpretation of what this song is about. |

Cried the first time I heard this track. Getting the feeling that it's about his obvious love and undying devotion to someone, but being unable to obtain what he wants to achieve in the relationship, failing to keep promises etc. thus making him fall into a depression of sorts. Sometimes, What's in the heart isn't enough. |
