| Radiohead – Go to Sleep. (Little Man Being Erased.) Lyrics | 19 years ago |

and if you did more reading you'll see that the agenda of the far left is just as idiotic and scary as the agenda of the far right, at least to someone who values their individual liberties and freedoms. You're best off just dropping the whole left/right, liberal/conservative bush is bad crap. It is just a tool to distract the populace. Ron Paul is a republican and he is 10x more of a man than anyone on Air America, Ted "I drowned my girlfriend and ran away" kennedy, the crony appointees of the United Nothing, or the globalist, owl worshipping neo cons. Wake up and learn about communitarianism and what the globalists have in store for us. And you wonder why Thom has such a pessimistic attitude? |

| Radiohead – There There. (The Boney King of Nowhere.) Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| to me teh message is straightforward: don't be naive. | |
| Radiohead – Idioteque Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| Global Warming, the end of civilization, anarchy. Go to the bunker to escape the killing, send the women and children first. People are too self-absorbed to care about the future (here and now, everything all of the time). | |
| Radiohead – I Might Be Wrong Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| The themes in a lot of Thom's lyrics seem to be expanding with each album since OK computer. OK computer has a lot to do with paranoia and the human condition: depression, suicide, alienation, etc. Kid A/Amnesiac were strongly influenced by NO LOGO, and convery a general hopelessness for the future of man and the planet because of the corruption of our leaders. HTTT expands on the theme of corruption in business and politics and people's unwillingness to pay attention or wake up to the reality of it. The new album has a lot of lyrics that relate to globalist agendas mentioned in NO LOGO, police state, and the general apathy of the population. A lot of songs have a generally pessimistic view of the future and society's failure to address, choosing to pretend they don't exist instead. There is a reason why they wanted Radiohead to do the score for A Scanner Darkly and Black Swan is on the soundtrack. | |
| Radiohead – I Might Be Wrong Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| losing faith and living in the past when things were better instead of facing an uncertain future. | |
| Radiohead – Fitter Happier Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| trying to live up to the modern standards makes you a robot, your life is filled to the point of automated routine. | |
| Radiohead – Kid A Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| I think this song is about the worthlessness of a two party system. one side has heads on sticks, the other ventriliquists. both are puppets and the puppet masters corrupt the youth. | |
| Radiohead – Go to Sleep. (Little Man Being Erased.) Lyrics | 19 years ago |

"theyre saying go to sleep. just dont worry about the lies, keep dreaming, sleep." Bingo. This song is about apathy. |

| Radiohead – The Amazing Sounds of Orgy Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| anarchy? | |
| Radiohead – I Will. (No Man's Land.) Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| london bombings during wwII and killing civilians, like children. White elephant is a metaphor for an unborn child in Enrest Hemingway's "Hills Like White Elephants" he said he was angry when writing this song. | |
| Radiohead – Down Is the New Up Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
Latest Version: Get yourself together Let the light pour in Pour yourself a hot bath, pour yourself a drink Nothing's gonna happen without a warning Down is the new Up What is up, buttercup Down is the new Up, is the new Up Your services are not required Your future's bleak, you're so last week Ladies and gentlemen, without a safety net I shall now perform an Orwellian flip-flop I shall now amputate, I shall now contort Because Down is the new Up What if I just flip-flopped? Down is the new Up, is the new Up Caught on Candid Camera The chink in your armor Topsy turvy town, topsy turvy town Shake your pockets out Pass it on, pass it down Topsy turvy town, topsy turvy town ---- seems to be about relativism and how people can be conditioned to believe anything, 1984 style. |

it is coming out on the new album. All the new songs are great. Theme seems to be along the lines of people who don't learn from the past are destined to repeat it. |

| Radiohead – How to Disappear Completely Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| this about the stress Thom felt on tour. He talks about it somewhere. He called Michael Stipe from REM and asked for advice. Stipe said when the pressure gets to him he sits and the corner, covers his ears, closes his eyes, and repeats over and over, "i'm not here, this isn't happening". | |
| Radiohead – Optimistic Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| I think this song is about being preyed upon but still hoping for the best and doing what you can, which was a theme of animal farm. the pigs became corrupt and preyed on the animals they felt were inferior. Big fish eat the little ones, and the way the people purposely ignore or wish away misfortune. not my problem, give me some, ignoring they are puppets in an isolated police state. | |
| Radiohead – No Surprises Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| yes, this song is about suicide. | |
| Radiohead – Dollars and Cents Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| radiohead, thom in particular, is against globalism and the central banks, the IMF, the WTO, and other organizations that are moving us towards a one world government. And he should be, just like every one of us should be. The agendas of these people are not in the interest of the people, the people are their dollars and cents. It seems to me, like a lot of people I know, that power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. | |
| Radiohead – Bangers + Mash Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
this seems to be another song about corruption, I seem to see this in a lot of radiohead. Thom is very informed politically, and the references are subtle but the words ring alarmingly true to people who read about the things he dislikes. The IMF, "fair trade", globalism, NO LOGO, etc.. Tasted the poison and wants more. Corrupted by power. Stare into the darkness, look inside yourself and see nothing. soul is gone. The pyramid is the illuminati symbol of power. So is the owl, which is mentioned in open pick. |
|
| Radiohead – 2 + 2 = 5 (The Lukewarm) Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| corporate corruption, specifically accounting fraud. this was a big issue when HTTT was released. enron, etc. not paying attention to the books. Once you get sucked in you are comprimised and can't get out because you will be punished, even if you realize that you have done wrong. | |
| Radiohead – Open Pick Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
a lot of the new songs seem to have themes about the agenda of globalists out there, at least to me. Like this song. CCTV and the police state, drugging us up to keep us docile. Wish away the nightmare, the general apathy of a populace when it comes to facing hard realities. The globalist jigsaw is coming together. unchecked power, corruption, etc. 2+2=5. I may be totally off, but this subtle and not so subtle theme seems to be in Bodysnatchers, bangers and mash, and a lot of their stuff since HTTT. |
