As Tall as Lions – Blowing Out A WIsh Lyrics 17 years ago
Beautiful and moving; one of my all time faves. Quite simply, I think it's about losing it all. The title is a giveaway. This track is definitely under-appreciated.

Modest Mouse – Exit Does Not Exist Lyrics 19 years ago
Wait a minute... isn't the title of this song a parody The title says "Exit Does Not Exist" but if you take out the "s" in "Exist", you have an ALTERNATE Exit all along. Visually, it's a contradiction. There is an exit in the title! Just one of my twisted theories.

If the exit does not exist (every institution should at least be concieved with one), go back out through the entrance. Ok, I will stop waisting your time!

Thom Yorke – Analyse Lyrics 19 years ago
I would have to agree with lizzyville on this one. I believe the lyircs go "Like CANDLES in the city" and "Like POWERCORDS in blackouts". Interesting similes actually ... whatever the lyrics, this song has a beautiful melody.

Buck 65 – Wicked And Weird Lyrics 19 years ago
Absolutely great lyrics and nice vivid description. I mean, it's obvious that the writter doesn't have any deeper meaning. He's just cruisin', no destination in mind, almost broke, just trying to start a new life and leave the old one behind. It's not the end, it's the journey, sort of speak. I believe that his love has just left him for another man: "back on the road not a moment too soon / dish ran away with some other spoon." But without a doubt, it's the music video that is the real gem! Completely random...

Buck 65 – Phil Lyrics 19 years ago
Wow. I was the first one to comment on this masterpiece? The lyrics themselves contain such deep and intimite thoughts. But essentially, I love the melody and percussion of this piece. It portrays the somber life struggles of the author in a sense of grievance and, most evidently in the progression of the song, hope. It floats, in a sense. It creates an atmosphere of sorrow, telling the life struggles of the author. The piece gives nice imagery: I especially like "I've climbed to the tops of the tallest trees /to get away from the deep water /to find a touch of the smallest breeze". Nice metaphor, applicable to life itself. I get the impression that there is hardship between the author and a girl throughout the song? And I'm still not sure of the significance of the line "believe it or not we've got the same names." Could somebody help me out? In conclusion, great portrait of art. I absolutely love the atmosphere this song creates in its entirety. I especially appreciate the last four lines; great advice. Absolute perfection! Caylin M.
