I never liked this song, but last night I was taking 1 and a half hit of lsd and i was starting to have bad visuals in my head. I turned off the psychedelic early floyd and put this on. It made my trip enjoyable, seeing funny and happy things again, I will always have respect for this song now. |

reminds me of dieppe.. well the first part at least.. Sky is dark, Dark as there is nothing up there as there were supposed to be war planes, ocean is on fire, as the germans just slaughtered most of them while they were getting off the boats into the ocean... soldiers stretched out with guns and arms, its just begun... as in all dead with their equipment surrounding them, and yet they keep sending more expecting it to work.. If you guys don't know about Dieppe which i doubt many americans would, it was a american strategy which sent 5, 000 canadian soldiers to the beaches basically to get slaughtered, and they knew it, but they wanted to test out the transport ships... there was supposed to be air support but it was canceld and the soldiers were just dropped and killed. |
