I think it's about a soldier who watches everyone around him die "...full of fear everclear I'll be here fighting forever curious venomous you'll find me climbing to heaven nevermind turn back time you'll be fine I will be left behind..." He wishes he were dead ("You'll find me climbing to heaven") bc everyone around him (I will be left behind") and he feels like he'll be fighting forever because he sees people die & he wishs it were him. "...show me what it's like to dream in black and white so I can leave this world tonight..." He wants to see black and white as if he was losing vision before he finaly dies ("so I can leave this world tonight") It makes sence to me...hope it does to eveyone else. lol |

| This song means a lot to me. I first heard it in my brothers car...when we were driving to the funeral home my aunt was in. She was like our 2nd mother & we were her kids b/c she never had her own. Cancer killed her & the day I heard she was in the hospital I dropped on my knees & begged god to take her so she wouldn't suffer. She live another month after that so when she died & was buried on my 16th b-day I wondered if there really was a god & if he really listened to me. This song is about wondering about your faith, and being lead a stray. | |

I was told that She wrote this song after she walked in on her husband & another woman...And It reminds me soooo much of my ex...Him and I went out for a really long time & things started getting abusive (abusiveness wasn't in the song but yea) & we broke up & got back together like teen couples in high school do...well the last time it was all an act & he dumped me cause he didn't tell his friends & school was starting and seeing how all his friends hated me, they were more important...but I came to find out he liked the girl that at the time...I was almost best friends with...they were soooooo nasty together. I wish them both a nice life in hell. O:~D |
