@[drugofjoyce:6487] It's definitely about mental illness, but I really don't think it's about schizophrenia at all. It's just Adam talking about how it feels to live with depression/anxiety/ADHD and maybe the "two worlds" is how he really feels in reality, as opposed to how he feel when he escapes from all these problems. I'd definitely wager on that. Also the two worlds may be the real and then the unreal, like a dissociated state. Many people with these anxiety issues, people who don't wanna hold a job or pick up the phone, many of these people also suffer from episodes of depersonalization or derealization. I think Adam is being pretty autobiographical here. And I totally know where he's coming from. It's like I could've wrote this song. |
