Well, when i first listened to the song for the lyrical aspect, it blew me away with the simplicity but how relivent it is and how it can be percieved. but what i heard from it is, that every post above is right. 1) Its about a relationship (friend), that 2) has been affected with something (depression or drugs),that 3) died due to suicide, or an overdose. and the singer is feeling guilty, because he believes that if he had tried to reach his friend, his death could be avoided. i dunno just my thoughts |

listening to the song it sounds to me that this is not of the singer personally but of 2 lovers a guy and a girl. The he / she thing going on is them talking to each other the girl singing: the first and last chorus. the guy singing: the 2nd chorus. Through the song it just sounds like hes singing it in the 3rd person, for example the line: "she said it seems your somewhere far away, to his face." the lyrics above are wrong. When i heard to his face it really made the song make sense to me at least. If it wasnt for the chorus where he sings, I - meaning himself or my theory of the two lovers broken love. The song would evidently point towards this being on song not of himself but of two others. I think i changed my ideas of this being a drug song, as this seems to make more sense. Adios- |

i agree with it being about drugs. The song is intailing that he was in accident, as there is lots of evidense pointing to this let me bring up a few. But first a couple points to my theory, that he is singing from the stand point that he is an accident child, born to a prostitute and that he has a drug addiction given to him by his mother sinse he was born. It's in the blood, could mean he .still has the substance in his blood system. The line He wanted love c- -ould be represented as his father that he never knew becasuse his mother was a prostitue. and the line: i barely dreamt her - could mean that he never knew his mother and tries to remeber her - - with the lines of the mirror through, the lipstick trace. - - Meaning something to do with that kind of lifestyle- it just looks like that in my mind at least. Thus, the he/she thing going on here represents his mother and father My sister could explain the reason behind the lines Bit my lip and drank my warmth, but alas she is not here to explain to me LInes: for a suger and ice, - - i have made, i remain. ice is a substance and im sure sugar is slang for some shit, and to me it just says that hes hooked and will remain hooked Hope this helps there probly more but im tired and its really hot out anyways, I refuse to believe this is a gay song. |
