| I'm not completely sure what the song is about but to me, but the line 'Dance with the Sufis celebrate your top ten in the charts of pain. Nah...' she kinda laughs at the end of that line, i think she's mocking her own number 1 one in the charts 'professional widow' while all this personal heartache is going on in her life she's laughing at that fact that she's number 1, even in the charts of pain. That probably doesn't make any sense to anyone but me lol | |

| I always thought this song was about miscarriage, 'the tiny kind of scary house' being the uterus, 'so many storms not right somehow' the mother being worried about strange pains etc, 'your not a cop out either' mother defending her own child to herself, and 'how a lion becomes a mouse' something giving you so much pain then nothing, its hard for me to put it into words, its just a feeling i get about this song. But after reading the first quote about the child abuse, the song is starting to take on new meanings. Its beautiful song all the same, and so painfully sad, the whole of the album (choirgirl) is so dark and sad, but its probably my favourite Tori album. | |

| This has to be my favourite Tori song,, or one of them. Its so haunting and rings so true, especially for me. Having lost a friend due to changes in circumstances/lifestyles. Its very sad when you lose touch with someone you had a strong connection and bond with, you mourn them and remember them often, but if you try to strike up that relationship again, its never quite the same. To me this song is about, friendship, love, loss and memories. | |
