really i dont think this song was supposed to be taken into real thought. if it was you would kno. it's not like there's a 'deeper meaning' or 'understanding' or anything; it's a song about TITS and ASS. so fuckin what. i think it's a fun and jumpy song, and hip hop or rap or pop or w/e isn't my ideal genre of music. if you dont like the song you dont have to fuckin scream how much you absolutely hate it. i bet you actually like it. i bet you're prentending to hate it because you think you'll be kool. real nice to say that someone else's work is trash. how the fuck would you feel if sumone said to u "hey your face looks like an asshole" or say you're one of those fat chicks who wears clothing that's like 10 sizes too small and sum1 went up to you and said sumthin like "lose some fuckin weight fatty then maybe you would look like a normal person who actually fits their clothes" how would you feel??? god do you really think you're like an angel who's against drugs and alcohol who doesnt swear and you're all "dont listen to that awful music you'll go straight to hell! it's the devil!" stop pretending you're a pure person or wutever, you fag. |

like every chili peppers song made since '83 it's just sumthin so strong nd beautiful.. what i really love about dani california is it's one of those songs that gets you all pumped up and gives u like an adrenaline rush haha.. and yea lovelyanarchy was right everyone... Dani comes from Californication, they just didnt mention 'dani' because they just made the idea of ''dani's story'' when they made dani california.. in Californication Dani is ''a teenage bride with a baby inside getting high on information''.. in By the Way she's obviously mentioned with ''dani the girl is singing songs to me under the marquee''.. when they wrote dani california they were thinking of creating Dani's story..
also there was a lawsuit with Dani California that only a few people mentioned.. i'm absolutely devoted and dedicated to the rhcp but i'm a tom petty fan as well, and i don't kno if you've read the reports of the lawsuit, but when do u hear any input from the chili peppers or tom petty?? it's all a bunch of bullshit from lawyers and producers nd i think that some relative or producer for tom petty just wanted some extra money so they sued the chili peppers because dani california sounds like last dance with mary jane. i totally agree that they do sound alike, but what i think happened w/ no question is that tom petty and the chili peppers had a little chat about a tribute song or w/e and just didnt make a big fuckin deal about it but then everyone who's got sumthin stuck in their ass had to go and make a lawsuit that i am SO happy was dropped because that sucked. i don't kno why it was dropped, but if that was already established then i'm sorry i just wrote that haha
and yeah on antwanmyman's note the chili peppers where made in '83. i mean i don't kno ONE person who's even HEARD 'Out in L.A.' (their very first big hit), or 'Green Heaven' (one of my favoritves) or 'Blackeyed Blonde', let alone anything from Freaky Styley or Mothers Milk so on and so forth..
i think the whole world should be opened to the history and beauty in the soul of the Red Hot Chili Peppers. it could really open some eyes. you get so inspired and learn so much from them and how unique they realy are from any band you can possibly imagine.

i really love this song.. it definetly stands out the most to me in Stadium Arcadium.. it's so beautiful and full of depth, it really shows not only the love they had for Flea's dog but what she really meant to them as a friend and companion.. and really, whoever thought it was 'dumb' to have the song about the death of a dog has to be a pretty tight ass close minded person |
