This song to me is very melancholy. I agree with Lake047. It has a sort of "save me" vibe to it. Either way, it's very well composed, and I havent had a song put me in such a trance like state for so long. |

This song is pretty obvious as far as meaning :) He wants the girl to let him pleasure her sexually. Such indications that it is sexual include the line "I will hear your every word, blind you with my brilliant tongue." And then, of course the obvious "Open up your body".. A good song though ;) |

I agree with you "theresoluteurgency" ^^ That seems the most obvious meaning of "Eye".. And just for the record, this is not only my favorite Smashing Pumpkins song, but when i first heard it, it immediatley became the best song i've ever heard.. and i heard it.. what.. years ago, and it is still my favorite.. Just all the backround chorus and effects, and of course corgans vocals mixed in, just puts me in a dizzy falling state.. I really want to hear the live version, and any other version.. Let me know where to find them ! |

a Good cover.. I was pretty much skeptical when i heard Corgan sing this one, it couldnt have been more .. "dreamy" for lack of a better word.. Good Stuff.. I still look forward to finally hearing some new pumpkin stuff possibly in the next few years though.. |
