The only other mistake I see is at the end of the fist verse. Instead of "You are the things inside me" it should be "You are the faith inside me." I absolutely love this song- one of my favorites on the new album- which totally rocks! BB did an awesome job! I'm really surprised more people haven't commented because I would really like to know other people's thoughts on this song... |

To me, this song is about a commited relationship between 2 people that has turned sour. When you first enter the relationship everything is seen through rose-colored glasses, but as time goes by, even though you still care deeply for that person, the love begins to fade. The couple begins to have arguements and obviously he is says things that he shouldn't and is mad at himself and thinks that perhaps the other person would be better off without him. But, he still loves that person deep down and wants to remain together. To me the chorus sounds like they have reached a crossroad in the relationship. The person can either decide to stay and remain in the relationship or leave. I think in the end the person has had enough with the relationship (betrayal, walk away) and walks away even though it hurts and he wants the person to stay. I don't know if that's how others view this song, but that's how I see it. |
