hehe, this is the theme song of our grade this year, because we're graduating, and even though it gets in everyones head and annoys the hell out of us, it still makes me feel awsome everytime i heard the opening note, definately a feel good song. seriously, we were woken up, at camp, at 6 in the morning, played this song, and told that we were walking up a massive mountain, before breakfast, and i still love it, so if its been tested that much its gotta be good! xXx |

I thought it was about giving love away too, when I first heard it. Or friendship-- like friends, who would be risking everything for love? but then I listened more, and I like the suicide version- not because I like the idea of suicide, not at all, but because that basicallly makes it a song about how much there is to live for, and no matter what it is about, it makes me feel great everytime i hear it! it reminds me of the best year of my life, when I listened to it over and over and over again, and now thats all i can think about when I hear it. xXx |

I dont think that it;s stupid to have the two contradicting each other. it's about wishing that you lived in simpler times, and she wishes that she was born earlier because things seemed more right then, than they do these days. she wants to be like a punk rocker, or a hippy, and feel free.
