it's a song about being obsessed with someone. it's about the feeling one experiences when being rejected by someone they think very highly of. the only way to break the attatchment is to say "i hate you" a million times in your head...even though, deep down, you know you don't mean it. i would know! that's why this song has been on repeat for the past week. |

love song, yes....BUT.....it's very meloncholy... I imagine a person who's at a party/social gathering of some sort. That person's love interest is at the same party, but for some reason the love isn't paying much attention to him. The plain look makes him uncertain...."does she even like me?"...but when she finally gives a smile, he feels it. In between looks, he's asking her in his head, "do you know how I feel about you? do you know how I dream about you??" Overall, I think it's a song about feeling insecure in a relationship. He needs constant assurance, but she just can't give it....."everyone is here, but you're nowhere near"....great party. great people. doesn't matter if she seems like she doesn't care..... |
