man yeah, this is quite a puzzle. at first i thought it had to do with human nature, but i was just on twinkle, so that could be just a carry over. a drug abuse is easy to see in this song. if you take the bones collide as a reference to sex, then i would say it's about a really young couple, prolly teens and whatnot that just don't know what to do with each other. they both have these inner drives "waking up the core needs
with smelling salts and faulty means" but neither of them knows what to do, so they are both kind of losing interest and falling apart. these songs can change meaning with a different perspective, that's what keeps you going back to them. guaranteed in 6 months, listening to this song again i'll have a different opinion |

well, i agree it is about war, but i don't believe it's based into the war in iraq. perhaps it's speaking of how war in general is to bring the destruction of the war, and how man kind follows in it. 'what was that light integrated in your mind' would be the propagation that says this kind of destruction is correct. and the leaving would be the removal of mankind from the earth. people say that our time spent on earth is relatively short compared to other species, but who are we to say that we will not survive for a long time? it's kind of a complex thought that changes througout the song, but basically the last hurrah would be the battle that blew up the earth, more or less. |

now see, i believe the lyrics are lost and loaded. lost as in not knowing where to turn, and loaded as in drunk. idk, that's just how i see it though, and it sounds a lot more like lost tehn locked to me. |

i think the song is about a guy getting the courage to ask a girl out and being shot down. seems like the guy really liked the girl and then somehow "blew it" and now he knows that she will never look at him the same way. "with the weight of a feather it tore into me" would be the one little insignifigant thing she said about him that ruined his emotional standing |

yeah i see it as a sense of a culture being set apart of reality and being brought into the accepted mainstream, but at the same time robbing them of thier recourses. like someone doing a card trick in front of you but stealing your wallet at the same time. the sense that i get is what europeans did to the native americans. africa also comes to mind only because of the programmed sense of primitive set into me by all stories about "cultures no white man had ever seen before" but once again we can only speculate on the actual meaning till we capture the writer and make him talk |

well all i have to say is that it all depends on what the true lyrics are. if the lyrics are like the one's at the top then yes it's about sex "bounce wiggle bounce wiggle" and drugs "chemical cutthroats". if it's like dross says then i can see the religous sense in it. |
