| Keane – Somewhere Only We Know Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
i wholeheartedly agree with you Riven_god but has anyone realised this song is blatantly about wanting to have sex with YOUR MUM, read some Freud people, WISE UP, man. The third verse is about your Dad being a fallen figure & he: ACTUALLY HAD SEX WITH YOUR MUM; She's getting old and you need something to rely on Hello?! |

| Keane – Everybody's Changing Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| This song is terribly sad because it actually doesn't make any sense at all. The fat lead singer has a metabolism that goes up and down like a see-saw with every (pork) pie he stuffs in his big fat face. So he himself is constantly changing. He just can't see it because he has a fat problem. x | |

| The Libertines – Love On The Dole Lyrics | 19 years ago |

Amaze! One of the best ones. Northern songs was the Beatles writing partnership (Lennon/McCartney). Carl & Pete an obvious comparison heh heh. Check out the Beatles film A HARD DAY'S NIGHT... x |

| The Libertines – Up The Bracket Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
I thought up the bracket () was like getting one up the bum? metaphorically! Double meanings maybe. Yeah "wind up like Joseph bloody in the hole", ha ha. Then there's these two star crossed dreamers who are forlorn because they're powerless to the dark, forboding elements doing it to them. So they never get close... It's impossible |

| The Libertines – The Delaney Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|

| Linkin Park – In The End Lyrics | 19 years ago |

I don't know what the song means, but when i was at school we used to sing "watch my Dad dance as the pendulum swings" instead. I think this could be the key.... response? |

| Keane – The Iron Sea Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
Me too CWdogg72 but has anyone realised this song is blatantly about wanting to have sex with YOUR MUM, read some Freud people, WISE UP, man. The second verse is about your Dad watching while you do actually: HAVE SEX WITH YOUR MUM; The sea is the rough beast... |

| U2 – A Man and a Woman Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| I agree almost entirely with "achtungbaby02", safe, although I use different words, my comment pretty much says exactly the same thing, I'm a bit embaressed by (my lack) of originality ;') | |
| U2 – A Man and a Woman Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
This is haunting, but it hasn't surprised me whatsoever: Like most songs, this song is obviously about want to "get your bone on" with you mother, or in this case with any female member of your family who is nearby enough.. Have you even READ Freud??? Still, it moves me every time, AWESOME song! xxx |
