first part-- he [pete] is going back home to chicago, and his friend [could be perceived as girl friend or best friend, you pick] is in cali. | i definetly dont think you should take anything peter louis kingston wentz writes at face value. i mean some of you took "dark alley" at face value and had to have others tell you how deep the song actually meant to him. so im not saying that youre right.it may be that we just cant get inside peters brain as well as wed like to think we can, but im also not saying that youre wrong. maybe it is just another catchy pop song to keep the label happy. | |
