this song is awesome! i listen to it everyday after work. Keith's solos in this song are amazing! this song is dark, but it was written during the darkest of times. i seen The Stones play in Toronto, during the benefit concert and they played this song amazingly! This song is awesome, but live is god like. Rock on Keith and Mick!

Tom Petty's version is really good, but Johnny Cash provides the greatness for the song. His voice is low and stable. It gives the feeling that Johnny will NOT BACK DOWN! But like i said, Tom Petty is good, but I just favor the johnny cash version over tom's.

beautiful song. reminds me of a girlfriend i once had. i loved her with all my heart and soul and she wanted to become best friends. and i knew we weren't gonna date ever again. hence the line, You're not coming back for me. I cry everytime i hear this song.
