The chorus is kind of a sequel to David Bowie's Space Oddity (look it up if you don't know the lyrics). Of course, Marilyn Manson has been inspired by David Bowie (he said so himself but it wouldn't be that hard to guess). Anyway, I thought so, and tried to look it up. The wikipedia says so too, but what do they know. =P Anyway, it does seem to fit. Of course it's not solely about Major Tom.. |
