| it reminds me of s fairytale i heard years ago about a man who fell in love with a selkie and took her as his wife. she stayed with him during the day but took her sealskin and returned to her sisters every night. in the end he got angry and threw her sealskin on the fire. she lived as his prisoner for a bit but eventually ran away and he never saw her again. i guess it's about how holding on too tightly to someone eventually drives them away from you. | |
