Well,Matheson I just listend to two songs and i can hear what you, its at the point where the guitar sound comes in, first on the left side ,and the on the right side.,this is what you mean right?? Well beleive it or not, but the idea of this song came after the band went on a drinking night,and someone (i don't know who) said :"Wouldn't it be fun,to have a Bicycle Race with naked women". Ok here is a comment The first part of the song is about a little girl called Betty, who had acces to a pound of aspirin,and at them thinking it was candy,and here Mommy wasn't there to take the aspirins away and take Betty to the hospital,because she (the Mommy) was an alcoholic and had more eyes for the bottle then for her own baby girl,so Betty died,and at the end of the song,the parents have to go to court ,because they let the baby die. |

From what i heard Freddie say in all kinds of interviews, this song has no real meaning, actualy he once said, the he was working on 3! differnt song,and couldn't fineshed them,so he just put all three idea's into one song. And for those of you that think it's about A.I.D.S remember that this song was written in 1975,and re-released after Freddie's death in 1991 as a Tribute to the man's composer skills |
