I feel that the song not only deals ironically with the belief that man has control over what God is. While the ever changing perception of man and the ever constant will, actions, and promises of God are central to the piece. A more subtle theme that I can find is in the lines "I'm just a little bit worried..." It is basically the cry of doubt found in many modern Christians. As one, I understand when it feels as though we are fighting a losing battle, not only to keep our own faith, but to allow those who want to believe to learn for themselves what God truly is. |

Sure's its a bit vigilante, but the hitman is a hitman. His thoughts of good and evil are a little skewed in the first place. A hitman is a hitman because he wants to get pain, not because he wants to make the world a better place. And to point out a sort of logical fallacy in the first few comments, there is no proof that the farmer was a kind loving father. There is actually proof to the opposite, seeing as his son had a hit on him. Whether or not the killer thought the farmer's son was an asshole is debatable. It may be David's own interjection. I personally believe that the killer did think the son was an asshole, but there's really no definitive way to prove it. |

| Past the words, the instrumental at the end was the most incredible part of the song. | |

| A beautiful song that does not need lyrics to describe a feeling of peace and contentment. | |
