I think this song presents that with music you can change the way the world's turnin'. You get power with guitar and drum, power to make a riot of your own..kind of punk |

and that line you mentioned "all the young bands seem to say please turn our rebellion into money" relates a bit to The Clash song White man in Hammersmith "Huh you think it's funny..turnin' rebellion into money" |

this song is first of all great! i love the intro!
this one is (to me) just a love song. He got dumped, and can't understand. He gave this relationship all he had, and she just dumped him without a descent explination. |

to me this song is indeed depressing.the lyric i'm all lost in the supermarket, i can no longer shop happily means to me that this person is so lost in his life that he can't even shop without feeling misery. he's lonely, kind of forgotten, and lost. he's one of all, a suburbian |

to me this song always ment that, sex is to make love to someone you love..not only a pleasure for the man (oralsex) but two persons who give eatchother themselves (takes of his clothes).. but i agree with all of you. i mean..a song means different for each person..and i think you're having a point there with the baby and the pill.
But then we are there again with the meaning that the man is responsible too..hope i made myself clear.. |
