I agree with Psychognome and more so now that a_kuntz has posted the translation with him saying (or from what I take of it) that even though he's in the USA he hasn't changed and the way he makes sally sound like she's changed since he has known her sounds to be like him and sally use to be close and part of the same 'scene' for lack of a better word and then when they came to the USA sally changed |

I find this song amazing. I have seen it from meny meny diferent points. I'll listen to it one day, and hear it from a drug users point, a strong addictive drug telling the user that everything will be okay, that if he lets the drug embrace him that all the troubles in the world will fade and become nothing. listen to it the next and hear myself telling my little sister night after night that there are no monsters under her bed, and to lay her head dwon and sleep that I would keep the boogyman at bay again. Hten I'll listen to it the next day and hear the goverment telling us its okay, telling us that we have nothing to worry about, and to let them call the shots. Just all and all a great song no matter how you see it. |
