I love her, but I am scared. I've been hurt and scarred and not the best of men. I love her, and she doesn't. I have, will, can, could, should change for her, but still it does nothing. The first one challenged my hopes and dreams and balance and desires and loves, and I was ruined. Now I'm trying to come back to what I was. Now I'm trying to be with her, the only one I can and will ever love. I'll be there and with her and in love and happy, but first I have to fix myself. And there must be some way that she can love me. True story. |

| I disagree with Labrie's viewpoint. We're not profiting from it. It's dragging us down. | |
| Tool – Viginti Tres Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| FOR THE LAST TIME, PEOPLE. THERE ARE FOUR SYLLABLES BEING SPOKEN. | |
| Tool – Viginti Tres Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| Oh, and pay attention to the song. The voice is saying four syllables, not three. | |

Hmm.... I was searching for stuff on synchronicity, using 23 of course, and the number 11:11 came up, with the colon and everything. It's another number for synchronicity. Rosetta is 11:11..... http://www.greatdreams.com/11coin.htm Any thoughts, anybody? |

The intro is 10/8, not 5/4. I always thought it stood for something. You and Your Zucchini Yes, a Yiddish Zebra Yowzers, You're Zany etc., etc. |

| Rush – Tom Sawyer Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| Stay true to your principles, don't give up. Don't care what others may say about you, and don't change your ideals based on the current fads. Live your life as you want to, just as Tom Sawyer did. | |
| Dream Theater – The Dance of Eternity Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| Why? Because it's pointless, seems like they only put it in there was because they could. It would've been much better as an instrumental section to another song... | |

I first heard this song in the dark at night... that voice scared the shit out of me. I have no idea what it says. I hear either "The System... No!" or "It's different... No!" |

Though, wouldn't that be awesome? 'Under a Glass Moon' + 'Glass Prison'? Does anyone know why they are called the 'Miracle' and the 'Sleeper' anyway? |

| I've always wanted to name this song 'Because We Can'... | |
| Tool – Rosetta Stoned Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| Well, thank you, eQb. You've been so kind. I mean, damn. I offered up a whole new perspective on this song, BUT NO!! It's okay. [sarcasm]Your version is better... [/sarcasm] | |

Well, the other day I saw the video for the very first time. Later that night, I had an incredibly vivid dream (odd for me, I don't dream) about the video, only instead of that black guy, it was me in the video. As soon as the third eye opened I woke up and instantly had a revelation: 'I am not alone in this body'. He's using 'this body' to reference those who have opened their third eyes and reveled in this ultimate truth. The band, Alex Grey, maybe a few members of the Church of Sacred Mirrors, etc. Which is why he's saying 'WE are eternal'. As for the name, maybe he's using the shape as a point of reference. Those who have 'experienced' that are on one side, and everyone else is on the other. The single turn is that moment when the third eye opens. 'Swirling round...' is this part. Like they're literally turning in life. And it's eternal, meaning, there's no going back. There's not another 'turn' for your life to follow. However, 'eternal' goes both ways. One can never even know, and continue on one path, eternally. But you have to 'choose' to be there, choose to do it... They did. Now they have that holy gift. All that's left is for us to open our eyes and find the gift for ourselves. |

@grandreflector: That 'vampire' theory would go well with The Patient. 'Paranoid, paralyzed vampire act'. I've always interpretted this song as a rant against society and those who are so willing to take from others for their own benefit. |

| If you listen with headphones you notice this small, slight flutter sound at the beginning, the same one at the end of '10,000 Days'... maybe they should be rearranged, similar to the Holy Gift theory for Lateralus... | |

You know, part of the melody of 'Lipan Conjuring' is in the middle of this song... Maybe it's like the Rosetta Stone in that there are three distinct parts to it, two that are relatively obvious (Greek and Latin/Lost Keys and Rosetta) and one that has to be figured out (Egyptian/Conjuring). That said, this song is hilarious. By the way, this is my first comment, so I'd like to take this time to say hello to you all. |
