This definately has some child loving phrases, the way he sings the little johnny is like an old perv lol. The fact that he's only skin and juice and hair, makes it more obvious he's a kid, then there's some sick giggling after the verses. danargyle has got to be spot on. The animal face blabla... yeah make up is made from Sheeps Piss, collagen yeyeye i agree. Supermodels sales people of vanity, alone? jungle (fighting against others to be the best!) Patton is absolutely class, there aren't many lyricists as good as this man. |

I think there are alot of messages hear. It's amazing how Mr Bungle, Mr Bungle has such a dense lyrical contect, whereas California is much more "too the point?" maybe... I think this song is about "the all american dream" aswell as what justedbin talked about. He sets the scene in verse one. It's where we all wanna be, having fun, the good old kid stuffin his mouth "awwww" the lil sis wins the animal. Classic. (I'm English Btw). Being given something and it taken away, or promises which turned out untrue seem to prevail aswell (in my ears anyway) Most verses are self-explanatory but written in a "fun fair" way. I think the re-occurance of the clown is himself, or "ourselves", he says "take a look at the clown in yourself" then speaks in the 3rd person "the clown that painted..." it's different views on this beautifully, easy life we all have! (or i may be wrong) |

One of my favourite lyrics of alltime... "how u guna make it on ur own, if luck is a lady"... Lady Luck is the well known term, but for a gay man, why does he want Lady Luck, fookin amazing lyric. George is coming round to the fact that he can openly be gay. as the song concludes "Celebrate the love of the one your with", need i say more? YES. i do... The song is an amazing song!! The song is clearly about his sexuality "i do believe that we are practicing the same religion". He wants fast love, he just wants sex wherever whenever with whomever. "make a little room in my BMW babe".. It's pretty obvious. The whole albums about change, and more importantly accepting change. |
