By the timeline in which he told an interviewer when he had lost his virginity, it seems that he had sex for the first time with this girlfriend, which only makes it harder to find out she began sleeping with someone else. In an interview they have said that it's a song Tim Rice-Oxley wrote for Tom Chaplin about their friendship. I especially adore the lines; "Will you see me in the end Or is it just a waste of time Trying to be your friend" because I think many friendships can relate to whether a friendship is for fun, pretend or one that lasts forever. |
