I have quite a lot of the demos and most of them are near identical to the final version, apart from four, lyrics there are changed. I'll look about on the FR forum to see what i can find though if anelectricslave wasn't referring to what i'm thinking of. |

I think this song is about how someone isn't being theirself and changing for the worse, "Ancient sore oculi Couldn't see the change" Meaning you cant see the change with your eyes. "And so now, little gosling, Don't become a swan." Don't change what you are. "She thought that this would make her happier." She thought being different would make her feel better but "I wanted to be special But I failed us all" would suggest it wasn't a good idea to change. I'd like to know what you mean by their early stuff and possibly point me in the direction of it unless you are talking about the demos of the songs one to nineteen. |
