I actually skipped this song for a good couple of months when the CD came to it. The "I can't see your STAAAAAAR" part in the beginning is pretty annoying, honestly. But then in an interview, Terry said that it was his favorite song, so I listened to it more closely. It really is a great song if you listen to the lyrics and the music near the end! And like every other song on this album, it grew on me, and now I love it. I think it actually says something for Evanescence that almost everyone who listens to the album has a different opinion of each song. :) |

It's a little bit disappointing. Amy's voice doesn't sound as original (haunting, pure?) in this song because the song is pretty straight forward and doesn't really sound like Evanescence. But hey, what do I know. It's a good song. Just different. |

I think this definitely is a song between two lovers. The way I took it was that she is describing her wedding. ("White lace and promises/A kiss for luck and we're on our way") I think she's talking about the life ahead of them and how marriage is just the beggining. I guess it could be about friends or siblings going to college or something but the "white lace and promises" would kind of throw that theory off. Who knows. :) |

This is so beautiful! It's one of my favorite Evanescence songs. David Hodges and Amy Lee sound great together. They sing two Christian songs together as well. ("Breathe" and "Fall Into You") I can't get over this song. It gives me goosebumps. ^_^ |

This is such a beautiful song. At first I thought the broken heart lyrics were a little cheesy, but her voice is just beautiful. It reminds me of Amy Lee's voice. The part when she sings "Creater, only you take brokenness and create us into beauty once again" gives me chills everytime. :) |
