From what it seems to me, the girl either did something wrong to the guy, or broke up with him, or something. Then later realized that she still wanted to be with him, but he had already moved on, hence the "you never let go, but i let go". The guy could have gone through some time afterwards where he was angry with her, hence the "I'm thinking of the worst things that I could say to you". |

I normally try to not always find Christian meanings in bands like relient k's songs, since many of their songs anybody can relate to. But basically, he knows he's done things wrong, and he doesn't want to let God down, but he keeps running from God anyways because he doesn't want to face up to his mistakes. But in the end he knows that all he needs is God. The last part is probably my favorite part of any of this band's songs. |

| Singing about Christianity doesn't make you a good music artists. To be honest, most Christian artists don't have very creative lyrics, and they are in no way better than Radiohead. Aaron is definitely talented in music and lyrics, I wouldn't say he's on the same level as Thom Yorke though. | |

I don't really think it's specifically about a relationship. It seems like one of those songs that could be applied to many situations. What I got out of it was that one or both of them did something wrong, and the other overreacted and held a grudge against the other, but in the end he still loves the other person(whether it be a girl, or just a close friend), but he's just pissed off at them for the time being. |

| I don't know how much this matters, but on Ronnie Winter's myspace profile(yes, he has one) it says that he's a Christian where you would put your religion, so it's very well possible that he could have had some Christian influences in his lyrics, assuming he's the lyricist. | |

The song definitely has to do with how mean teenagers can be, and probably how they can drive people to murder.("...another cog in the murder machine.") Also in the end of the music video for the song on their myspace it has an ad for nationalsave.org which is some sort of organization to stop violence in the youth and school and such. Basically Teenagers are mean and hurtful, they have their own little groups where they talk about everyone they don't like, everyone sees this when they go through High School. I'm sure experiences from Gerard's youth probably influenced this song as well. |

lol, titans8904, that's kinda silly. Jon is married and has a son anyways I think. Anyways, this song seems like it's about working together or coming together as one, while the whole world is falling apart, and may be against you. I saw them live a couple of days ago, and before they began playing "We Are One Tonight", Jon even said "This is a song about a fight!" |

What does the chorus mean?: "Sooner or later You'll find out there's a hole in the wall Sooner or later You'll find out there's a hole in the wall" I was thinking that part was talking about how eventually they will realize that there is something missing from their life, hence the "hole in the wall", and that something is God. |
