I Think this song is about the people who take anti-depressants and dont really need them. More so just like the people who are down and think they're depressed. our quick fix society we have people who get a little down and dont deal with it appropriate so run to the medication. However im not against anti depressants because God knows that truely is a disease and a horrible one to battle indeed. But not everyone on the pills have the problem. |

very interesting intreptation Cheese.
As for me , This song helped me through a break up. Me and this Girl loved each other but , not in the same way and it wasn't clicking. She did a few fucked up things to me and i kept trying to do the right thing to her then finally i tried to walk away and ended it, but she'd come back to me everytime then finally i made sure she wouldn't want to come back to me again. Alot of this happens when theres a division of people. The Enitity of a relationship it self , it causes friends to have to take sides, everything that was once there has to be pushed away. To me i think the songs about a break up simply put. |

megamadnan had an interesting point i never thought about that might be why the song is scratched. It is a common, not really grounded , but a common belief that if you commit suicide you go to hell. Me personally i thought the song was garbled like that because to signify the lack of faith in religion. obviously lack of faith in anything if you've lost the will to live. |

Think this song means basically changing yourself means dying. If you let someone change you you've kinda let them kill you. |

I never actually thought this song was about columbine. Eric & Dylan (the Shooters) were said to not even really like Marilyn Manson cause he was too mainstream. They just had one album of Mechanical Animals lying around i dont even remeber if it was theirs , but they didn't like Manson. Its kinda weird cause i know alot about columbine and never hooked this song to it......however this song is the themesong on the columbine RPG LOL. it may very well be about columbine , it does seem supportive of this statements in the movie bowling for columbine...*shrug*. |

This song can be literally interpreted as directly to his father , but there are some questionable remarks that it could be able Faith. To me Its about Faith. Heavenly Father actually. But to each their own , Great song by them none the less. |

to me , the song always reminded me of Anti Depressants. And the fact our world throws away Good people. Such as JFK and the Crosses through the video are also a reminder that humans killed Jesus a perfectly Good person who just wanted peace and Love. MLK , Ghaundi, are other examples of people im speaking of. We throw away people who have different ideals as well. |

Dont think Aaron Lewis was addicted to crack ever. I know he did have did Valum(sp?) though. Think this song is a mixture of how the drugs/depression/people have affected him. |

Well. Im Christian and I LOVE this song. This Song along gave me mucho respect for Manson as an Artist. i do however have one question....... when i got this song theres like a voice at the very begining of the song. i've asked MANY people and NO ONE knows what the hell is said at the start of the song and it apparenlty isn't listed here. It just says "A) Eden Eye" whatever that means but anyway before the song starts theres a voice that says something anyone know what it says? It sounds like "I loved em while she was something , then one day she fell to the floor and something something " anyone know what the hell im talking about lol. |

Call me crazy but this song reminds me of the columbine shootings. ( yes I DO KNOW thats not the intended meaning of the song) Overall the song is about fakeness and by angels im sure they mean figures that seem Good but are not.
Anyway to me the song seems like in high school everyone becomes extremely fake, they hide who they are, they hide who they knew, they avoid old friends etc. You start changing your self , lying to your self about who you are to fit in. And To not conform to this is basically a form of social suicide in some situations. After a while its fustrating and you feel like getting rid of all the people who act like shit but seem good to others. As far as the Jesus quote in the song , I think its about when you make your last resorts to change this. People who are more well liked get special treatmeants and more pardons by society , or authority figures. And no matter how much you plea all your good and truthfulness is Forgotten. Crazy i know. but its MY interpreation and like SOAD said.....the songs mean whatever the hell you want em to mean lol. |

| Staind – Let It Out Lyrics
|
Let it Out is a true Master Piece. This song is percieve able in 2 very polar ways. The Literal message of the song is basically Aaron Lewis's life has turned so much and he doesn't need to hold on to his sorrow and past any more. He knows by letting it go he'll be better off. However he Knows that there are Fans who expect his music to be "Darker" and more consistent with lyrics of the past. But he knows that He doesn't have that Sorrow, that never dying conflict, so theres not as much left to speak about to his audience. He believes that if you join in this feeling you'll make it through as well.
however me personally the way i relate to this song is a feelin of hopelessness in light. Theres no point in holding on to an Existanec that isn't going any where. I've announced and spoken about my issues for so long that i cant say anything New. Theres nothing in the world left to comfort me and to "fight" over. and to me Let it out is basically a relation to being better off in Death than in life. BUT thats jyst MY percieving of it. remeber Aaron Lewis doesn't condone Suicide. *cough waste cough* |

| Staind – Cross To Bear Lyrics

|
To Me I believe the song is about Aaron Lewis's Cross to bear being Depression. Like Jesus in this time of Burden people hazed him because of his burden and didn't understand. Like Jesus , The thing that was his Burn became something he Embraced and because of it he is revered. Aaron Lewis, his depression is something that burden him but also became something he accepted and became revered for. Though He still waits and hope for the burden to disappair because he doesn't want to be confined (Seen, Known, owned,) only because of it. |
