| The Adicts – Distortion Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| Something to the idea that you should speak clearly whenever possible because it can be interpreted the wrong way by some people. | |
| The Adicts – Steamroller Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| To me it's a goofy about a guy who's girlfriend died and he wasn't able to tell her that he'd never leave her. I guess the moral of the story goes you gotta let people know how you feel about them otherwise you could lose your chance. | |
| The Adicts – How Sad Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| To me this song is about how no matter how old you are love is un-controlable and there's nothing you can do to change that so don't feel bad for someone in a situation that can't be controled such as love. | |

You don't look so good. You don't look fine. Do you think that you've gone too far this time. Oh I'll sing you a lullaby. Oh I'll sing you another lullaby. Oh I'll sing you a lullaby. Oh I'll sing you another lullaby. Is your head aching. Is your body weak. Is the floor moving. Can't you speak. How do you feel. How do you know. Do you wish you were at home. But it's a long way to go. Oh I'll sing you a lullaby. Oh I'll sing you another lullaby. Oh I'll sing you a lullaby. Oh I'll sing you another lullaby. Oh I'll sing you a lullaby. Oh I'll sing you another lullaby. Oh I'll sing you a lullaby. Oh I'll sing you another lullaby. Find a corner. Sit right down. Go to sleep. You won't hear a sound. Oh I'll sing you a lullaby. Oh I'll sing you another lullaby. Oh I'll sing you a lullaby. Oh I'll sing you another lullaby. Oh I'll sing you. Oh I'll sing you. Oh I'll sing you. Oh I'll sing you. A lullaby Sounds to me like it's about someone that is so drunk that they cant make it home. So he lets them find a corner in his house and crash there. He probably adores them so possibly a girlfriend or something which is why he sings them a lullaby. |

| The Adicts – Johnny Was A Soldier Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| As I listen to the song and read over the lyrics it makes me think that "Johnny" joined the army without knowing how long he'd be gone or what might happen to him but enlisting because the government generally glorifies the military. He served his 3 years and came back home injured and free from having to go back into war. But he wants to do the things he used to be able to do and going to war has ruined his life. Kinda makes him wish he never enlisted. | |
| The Adicts – Numbers Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| I get the feeling that he is refering to numbers as uniformity. Having a number isn't anything really speical. But if instead of a number you had a name then you could be different from everyone else. | |
| The Adicts – Easy Way Out Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
Ok this is what I hear from their album "Made In England" We've all been born to live our lives in security. How do we know if we'll die or if we will recover. From day to day we live our life the same way. No money to hold in our hands and not time to spend it. So I chose the easy way out to do my body some harm. Cut my throat and slash my wrists. I even tried electricity. I cut my throat. I slashed my wrists. It was the easy way out. We've all been born to live our lives in security. How do we know if we'll die or if we'll recover. So I chose the easy way out. To do my body some harm. Cut my throat and slash my wrists I even tried electricity. I cut my throat. I slashed my wrists. It was the easy way out. So I chose the easy way out. To do my body some harm. Cut my throat and slash my wrists. I even tried electricity. The shock was deadly. The shock was deadly. It was the easy way out. It's probably about someone (probably a teenage) that is experiencing independance for the first time and can't really take all of the pressure of being independant. Not having the sense of security they did when they depended on someone else (probably their parents) which caused fear and they "chose the easy way out" and commited suicide. |
