Some of you got it but it's not quite the complete story. It was about love but it was originally about a bout of dysentery. Lynne didn't like the resulting song and changed a few lines to make it about the loss of love instead. I would like to hear the original.

I thought it was about fighting depression and suicide and all the google ads seem to agree with me. There are 3 about depression, 2 about suicide and 2 about teenage help.
