this song makes me cry every time i hear it. the meaning is kind of obvious, it's about his brother who killed himself, and just singing about how he'll never wake up and see the sunrise again. I think he feels sort of melancholy about it though. Like he's happy that his brother is in a better place, "heaven" |

YOU ARE ALL WRONG! all of the songs jeff writes are in reference to his childhood, not about anne frank or any of that bullshit. twoheaded boy is about how his brother and he held eachother so closely and clingingly that they were like a two headed boy. and that's what the title means anyway. I know the last stanza is about how his father beat his brother to death with a hammer because he was homosexual, and he wasnt sad because he thought that his brother was in a much better place, like his dream place, rather than the shithole they lived in. because I think they had a homosexual relationship together, so all the sexual references are about his deceased brother and he. and the lady he talks about is his mother, whom has nothing to do with anything sexual. you see, I have a theory that when their father wasnt there they sung and danced and such and were very happy, but his father raped them. just a theory. btw they were christians. Jeff had a horrible childhood, look it up. |
