| i think the whole song is about organized belief in general.. and how organized belief such as religions and political factions can lead to formation of cults or cult-like followings in society.. references to the chruch and military/political factions are found throughout the song: "little pistols, companion halls, desperation tentacles, i've been alone since '89" this seems to be about the end of the cold war in '89 with the taking down of berlin wall and the following "fall of communism".. lines like "this is a mouth that needs religion, kill the common law that missed, seperation is divine" criticizing how organized religion are becoming too involved in government.. the line "theyve got tricycles and skirts" is about how childish all this commotion over belief in religion or political stances has become.. and lines like "you come in and check my time, youve got fornication crimes" talks about how hypocritical fundamentalists can be.. | |

I know this sounds crazy but i think the song is based on, or at least deals with some issues of the movie and legend of "the blair witch project".. the line "they like to put the little kids in the corner with there face and eys on the floor" is a reference to how a legendary serial killer named rustin parr tortured and killed his victims: one child would wait in the corner facing the floor as another was slowly killed. when arrested rustin parr claimed that he was "possesed" by the blair witch or some demon from the forest.. or maybe the song is just a metaphor for how people can blame their actions on being possessed by things like drugs or "demons" |
